Dr.
Caitlin Dobecka is a Flower Mound, Texas native and a 2006 graduate of Marcus High School. She completed undergraduate studies at Oklahoma State University, earning a B.S. in Biochemistry
and Molecular Biology. Go Pokes! She then went on to earn her D.V.M. from Texas A&M University. Gig ‘Em!
During her clinical year of veterinary studies, she was awarded the opportunity to train at Dubai Equine Hospital, one of the world's premiere equine facilities; that experience allowed her to learn many different procedures that she would be able to utilize in her future practice.
Dr. Dobecka completed an ambulatory internship at Peterson and Smith Equine Hospital,-our nation's third largest equine hospital. Located in the heart of horse country, Ocala, Florida the internship provided high volume and varied training from some of the most seasoned ambulatory veterinarians there are.
In 2014 Dr. Dobecka attended Options for Animals College of Animal Chiropractic and became certified by the board of the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association. In 2017 Dr. Caitlin became a student of the Chi Institute and finished the equine acupuncture course.
By working for organziations like APHA, Sate Fair of Texas, AQHA and several horse races, Dr. Dobecka has extensive experience organizing and executing drug testing at equine events. She can provide a drug testing team at any equine event.
Dr. Dobecka grew up with animals as an active FFA member, and takes time to educate youth that are interested in animals and veterinary medicine. She is dedicated to educating owners to provide their horses with the best healthcare and lifestyle possible.
Dr. Caitlin Dobecka takes pride in serving this great community. She enjoys the variety of cases seen, but she mostly enjoys being part of the puzzle to get horses happy and healthy,and then working to maintain their good health.
